  • Camino Natural Resources has filed the largest number of pooling applications this month in Oklahoma.
  • Blue Water Resources acquired more than 60 wells from Onapa Gas Company in the Arkoma Basin.

  • Stone Oak Operating acquired more than 100 wells from Tapstone Energy in Northwest Oklahoma (particularly Beaver, Ellis, and Harper county).
  • Continental Resources is the most active operator in terms of spacing activity in Oklahoma. Spacing apps have been filed in Garvin and Grady counties.
  • Alta Mesa has filed the most permits to drill in the last 30 days.
  • Newfield Exploration has filed the largest number of pooling applications in Oklahoma over the last 30 days.

  • The SCOOP remains the most active area in Oklahoma in terms of leasing.
  • Continental has become the most active spacing applicant in Oklahoma. New spacing applications are being filed in Custer and Grady counties. Continental has also become the number one applicant in terms of increased density filings, again targeting Grady county.
  • Camino Natural Resources has become the number one pooling applicant after a recent increase in filings in Grady county.
  • Alta Mesa (Oklahoma Energy Acquisitions) has become the number one operator filing permits in Oklahoma over the last 30 days after a recent flurry of activity in Kingfisher county targeting the Mississippian formation.
  • Newfield remains number the one applicant for all location exception filings in Oklahoma.

  • EOG becomes the number one operator in Texas in terms of drilling activity.

  • Endeavor Resources filed the largest number of permits in Texas this week, all within the Midland Basin.
  • Pioneer Natural Resources is the second most active operator filing permits in Texas. Five permits were filed for gas wells in the Eagle Ford.
  • The majority of activity in Texas is focused in the Permian Basin.

  • Newfield tops the list for spacing applicants in Oklahoma. All spacing applications were filed in Kingfisher and Dewey counties.
