Highlights from this week's report:
Completions
-
XTO leads completions in the state of Texas, with all of their activity in the Permian. This coincides with ExxonMobil’s recent blog post about focusing their U.S. efforts primarily in the Permian.
-
EOG Resources doubled their completion activity compared to last week, leading activity in the Eagle Ford Basin.
Intents
- Apache takes over as the number one operator, according to intents to drill. As we saw in last week's report, we have been seeing signs that Apache will continue to ramp up operations in the Permian. You can find their exact locations in Reeves County using Atla.
- RSP Permian’s only focus is the Permian; they have been very active in Midland, Martin and Loving counties. With more than 4,000 drilling locations (according to their website), we will want to watch how they capitalize on their position in the coming months.
