Texas Intents to Drill

• Endeavor’s filings are primarily focused on their vertical wells in Midland County. Diving deeper into the data, we have found that they are now targeting shallower formations of wells that have already been drilled more than 10 years ago!  Want to know how we found this? Texas Transfer of Operators

• Venado made a recent acquisition from Cabot Oil and Gas in the Eagle Ford basin for a purchase price of $765 million.

• The purchase price is more than $10,000/acre (including wells)! This acquisition brings them to more than 100,000 net acres in the Eagle Ford. We will be keeping a close eye on their future activity as they try to take advantage of their favorable position!

• El Dorado Oil & Gas has recently purchased more than 100 wells in the heart of the Eagle Ford from Swift Energy, recently renamed Silver Bow Resources.  

Texas Completions

• Laredo Petroleum’s filings are focused on the re-completions of multiple vertical wells in Reagan County.
