Texas Completions 

• Merit Energy has been recompleting gas wells in south Texas, specifically in Hidalgo County, along the Texas-Mexico border. 

Texas Intents to Drill

• Pioneer Natural Resources remains one of the top operators in the Permian Basin.  Recent news reports have shown us that Pioneer is solely focused on the Permian, so it's no surprise they remain as one of the top operators in this play!  Diving even deeper in to the data, we found that many of these filings were for the ‘Texas Ten Y Pu’ lease in Midland County. Recent wells on this lease were recorded at producing more than 1,000 BOPD! We will continue to watch these and future wells to see if they maintain the same level of success.
• Energen is another player to watch with Drilling Permits steadily increasing. Their recent filings for the Skyfall State Unit in the Delaware Basin have caught our attention. This multi-well filing is targeting the Wolfcamp formation in Reeves County.  We will want to watch the performance of these wells as Energen looks to capitalize on their growing position in the Delaware Basin!
