Texas Intents to Drill
- Endeavor has filed multiple intents to drill horizontal wells in Midland County. We will want to watch for their multi-well pads on the Rio San Gabriel lease. Interested in how these wells perform compared to other horizontal wells in the Permian Basin? Give us a shout, and we’ll show you how to do this using Atla.
- SN EF, a subsidiary of Sanchez Energy, is focusing on their Catarina and Cochina leases located in the Eagle Ford. Although they plan on reducing capital spending, the majority of their D&C CAPEX will be focused on the Catarina and Cochina leases. We will be watching these wells’ performances, especially to see if their increased lateral length and newer completion designs make a difference. (More information is available in their recent investor presentation).
Texas Transfer of Operators
- The most notable transfer is Scout Energy’s acquisition of more than 1,000 wells from Linn Operating in the Texas Panhandle. This increases Scout’s exposure in that area, following their acquisition last year in the Oklahoma panhandle in Texas county.
- As for Linn, we are interested to see how they divest their West Texas assets! Follow our weekly report to be the first to know who purchases their assets!
