- As Devon announces the sale of $340MM of Eagle Ford assets, they ramp up in the STACK with 27 permits last month!
- We have seen one good sized acquisition after another. Last week, we wrote about a shell company Briar Oil and Gas that purchased 325 wells in the Arkoma from BP; This week Stephens & Johnson out of Wichita Falls purchased 413 wells from Chevron in Stephens county.
- Take a look at the map showing Transfers, notice all the activity in the Arkoma? A lot of people must be long on gas.

In this week’s report, we see more Arkoma action! We’ve posted several times about the high volume of lease activity in and around Hughes county…now we see a big acquisition in the form of 325 wells in Pittsburg and McIntosh counties from BP to a newly formed company called Briar Oil and Gas, who has also been leasing near the wells they bought.
