Oklahoma Leasing Activity

  • King Energy has been aggressively leasing acreage in the SCOOP, focusing in Caddo County. We will be watching them closely after their recent increase in activity, which includes leasing over 18,000 gross acres in Caddo!

 

Oklahoma Spacing Applications 

  • Marathon has been picking up in activity as they space the SCOOP and STACK for multiple horizontal wells. Their recent spacing filings are targeting the Woodford and Mississippian formations!

Oklahoma Completion Filings

  • Devon Energy’s completion filings are focused around their horizontal well filings in Blaine County. Two of the wells that were recently completed had initial production rates of over2,000 BOPD!

Oklahoma Pooling Applications

  • Continental Resources becomes the top applicant in terms of pooling applications once again, after their recent filings in Dewey and Custer County. We will want to watch their activity here as they push west to see if they are onto something new!

Oklahoma Drilling Intents Filed

  • Oklahoma Energy Acquisitions intents to drill are located  the STACK with filings for multi-unit pads in Kingfisher County.

Oklahoma Location Exceptions

  • Oklahoma Energy Acquisitions is by far the leader in terms of Location Exception filings. Their recent filings are all focused in Kingfisher County which goes hand in hand with their recently filed intents to drill. We are very interested in their future activity in Kingfisher County!
