Oklahoma Leasing Activity

  • Calyx Energy continues to build a strong position in the Arkoma Basin, specifically in Hughes and McIntosh counties.

Oklahoma Spacing Applications

  • Newfield Exploration has been actively spacing horizontal wells in the Mississippian Formation throughout the SCOOP and STACK.

  • TPR has filed spacing applications for multiple horizontal wells in the SCOOP.  We are going to watch to see how these wells perform once they are producing.

Oklahoma Pooling Applications

  • Pooling filings remain the most active in ‘The Merge’ which is an area between the SCOOP and STACK. We will continue to follow this area closely as it increases in activity and notoriety.

Oklahoma Completion Filings

  • White Star Petroleum is one of the most active operators in terms of completion filings this week. Their filings are related to previously completed horizontal wells in late 2017 which are targeting the Mississippian formation in Garfield, Logan, and Payne Counties.

Oklahoma Intents to Drill

  • Newfield continues to lead all operators by most drilling permits filed!  They almost doubled in activity week-over-week due to their multi-well pad filed in the STACK targeting the Meramec Formation.
