Oklahoma Frac Activity

• An often overlooked advantage you can gain by using oseFrac lies in its data currency -- in other words, how often oseFrac's data is updated.
• Typically, frac reports are submitted far ahead of completion reports -- no matter the state -- because they're actually submitted to FracFocus by the service company, not the operator. Sure, you might get a spud notice, but how much detail do you actually get from that form? (Hint: not much!) 
• With oseFrac's data, as soon as a well's frac job has ended and has been submitted to FracFocus, oseFrac will ingest and process that data. 
• As a little exercise, we took a look at a hotter than average section in the SCOOP during June. In 20-03N-04W (Garvin County), we can see that Continental has frac'ed 6 wells, yet if you were only monitoring completions, Continental would have put up a big goose egg here in June.

Oklahoma Leasing Activity

• Calyx Energy remains the most active operator in the Arkoma, although its activity has fallen off during the month of June.  

• Look out in the coming weeks for WSGP who is well on its way to becoming the most active lessee in the Arkoma!

Oklahoma Spacing Filings 

• Continental continues to aggressively file spacing applications in the SCOOP, mainly in Grady county. 

• Calyx Energy has begun to take advantage of its acreage in the Arkoma; expect them to remain very active in the coming weeks.

Oklahoma Completion Filings

Oklahoma Pooling Activity

• Echo Energy is on the rise; recent pooling activity in Carter county shows us that Echo plans to expand beyond McClain and Grady counties; we expect them to be filing permits to drill in the coming weeks.

Oklahoma Drilling Intents Filed

• XTO Energy’s recent activity has been focused in the SCOOP, primarily Carter county. They have filed a total of 30 permits in the state over the last year, 10 of which were in June of this year.

Oklahoma Transfer Activity

• Continental continues to file drilling permits in the SCOOP targeting the Springer formation (see our report on Project Springboard).

• Tapstone Energy, by far the most active operator in Woodward County in 2018, is currently filing drilling permits targeting the Mississippian Formation.

Oklahoma Increased Density Filings

• Tapstone makes plans for future infield drilling activity targeting the Mississippian formation in Dewey and Woodward counties.
